TruBites — Healthy Tiffin Subscriptions (India)

The Problem

India’s tiffin delivery market is massive but mostly unorganized — run through phone calls and cash payments. Health-conscious consumers want to know what they’re eating (calories, macros) and need flexible subscription management, but existing services don’t offer digital-first experiences.

The Solution

TruBites is a Progressive Web App for nutrition-focused vegetarian tiffin delivery:

• Meal plans: 2-Meal (Lunch + Dinner) and 3-Meal (Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner + Drink)
• Dietary preferences: Regular and Swaminarayan
• Nutrition tracking: Calorie and macro data for every meal
• Subscription management: Auto-debit via Razorpay (UPI, cards, netbanking)
• Skip flexibility: Up to 4 skips per month with 8 PM cutoff
• Add-on ordering: Per-serving extras (roti, rice, dal, salad, buttermilk)
• B2B corporate plans: Bulk meal ordering for offices
• Sales agent system: Ground-level agents with QR codes and commission tracking

India-Specific Features

• Phone OTP login via Firebase Auth (primary auth method for India)
• Razorpay payments (UPI, cards, netbanking, subscription auto-debit)
• Ola Maps API for delivery address autocomplete
• Push notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging
• WhatsApp notifications for daily menus and reminders
• Pricing in INR with 5% GST
