KhaoKhilao — Gujarati Tiffin Delivery
A full-stack tiffin delivery platform for authentic Gujarati meals across the Greater Toronto Area.
The Problem
South Asian families in the GTA — especially Gujarati communities in Brampton, Mississauga, and Vaughan — want reliable, authentic home-cooked tiffin delivery. Existing services rely on WhatsApp groups and phone calls with no proper subscription management, skip flexibility, or dietary filtering.
The Solution
A modern tiffin delivery platform built for the GTA market with:
- Weekly menu management with rotating dishes
- Subscription plans: 2-Meal and 3-Meal options
- Dietary support: Regular, Swaminarayan, Jain, and Vegan
- Skip calendar: Skip up to 4 meals per month with same-day cutoff at 10 AM EST
- Referral system with QR code sharing
- Admin dashboard for meal, order, and delivery management
- Delivery windows: Monday–Saturday, 2 PM–7 PM EST
Authentication & Notifications
- Email + Phone OTP login via Twilio
- Transactional emails via Resend
- Google Maps Places API for delivery address autocomplete
